ZOMBIE, recorded at Theater Row, March 5, 2009. A trailer. This one-man show was recorded with a single camera placed a monopod to create the sensation of a slightly deranged "floating" camera.

KASPAR HAUSER, A Foundling's Opera. Written and Directed by Liz Swados. Recorded at The Flea Theater on March 11, 2009. This was a 2-camera shoot. Because of the peculiarities of the space - the house is wide and very shallow - the two cameras were positioned at the opposite edges of the sunken stage, shooting "cross-wise," one side supplying the tighter shot and the other staying generally wide-to-medium.

FINISHING HOUSE. Written by Jack Hanley, directed by Christopher Eaves. Recorded at Dixon Place, NYC on Mar 20, 2009. This time we set up an unmanned camera on the balcony (at the director's insistence) and another on the floor. The overhead view of the balcony camera did not go very well with the level view of the primary camera and the footage had to be used sparingly - mostly at the very opening or closing of a scene. In this fragment the overhead shot is inserted in the middle of a scene as a kind of punctuation, and to "remind" the viewer of the general arrangement of the play space.
