I had been traveling through the European capitals with a super-8 camera, moving and filming haphazardly. At the time I was evidently concerned with the static subject in cinema. Some time later the footage was repurposed for a pseudo-documentary that is deeply in dept to Greenaway's early work. This is a fragment. A journey across an island to collect pieces of a lost biography and a lost civilization.
