The two short sequences on this page were used as "film inserts" in a theatrical production based loosely on the life of Marina Tsevtaeva. On the eve of her suicide Marina communes with the long-dead Rilke, the lover she never met. This is Elena Romanova acting opposite Tosh Marks. Below they are joined by Alexander Rappoport, star of countless Russian boeviks, playing a proto-KGB interrogator. Super-8 above, DV below.
